The collection consists of papers of Randall H. Minor from 1951-1982. The papers include addresses, both notes and typescripts (1951-1982); correspondence; publicity material; clippings; reports; and printed material mainly documenting Minor's presidency of Shorter College (Rome, Ga.) from 1958-1982. The materials contain information on admissions to Shorter, faculty appointments, land purchases for expansion, and Minor's administrative duties. The correspondence (1962-1981, bulk 1971-1981) includes incoming letters to Minor, both personal and official, as well as carbon typescripts of Minor's outgoing correspondence.
